During washday:
Step 1 : Apply Lemongrass Conditioning Creme Cleanser to wet hair. Focus on applying to the scalp first and allow foam to gently cleanse the hair. Gently massage scalp. Rinse and repeat process if necessary.
Step 2 : In 4-8 sections on wet hair, apply berry bliss deep conditioning treatment from root to tip. Ensure that all hair is fully covered. Cover with a shower cap and wrap with a scarf for an hour. For low porosity hair it is advisable to use heat to lift your cuticles to allow moisture to penetrate the hair strand. Do this by sitting under a hooded hair dryer for 20 minutes or using a deep conditioning cap for maximum results.
After washday:
Step 3: After washday, apply moisture to the hair stands before styling using the 3 step LOC process. Apply leave in conditioner in sections from root to tip. Finger detangle and run finger through the hair to take out any knots (Do not use a comb or brush at this stage.
Step 4: Using the praying hands method, apply moisture butter from root to tip. The moisture butter can be used as a styling cream for protective hair styles such as 2 strand twists, 3 stand braidouts, flexi rods and rollersets. Brush or comb hair after applying moisture butter ensuring that you start from the tips of the hairstand first and work your way down to the base.
Step 5 : Apply a sealing oil to seal in moisture.
For wash n go hairstyles or finger coils it is essential that you apply one moisturizer first before applying a jelly or gel. Apply leave in Conditioner or moisture butter then proceed to apply curling jelly for extra hold.
